Would give a zero if I could… my father… who is an 80 year old veteran and is bed ridden from serving had his account suspended for fraudulent claims…. Created a joint account through branch manager. I was secondary on it. I asked if I’ll be taxed on it, as I do not deposit or withdraw from it. Was told ‘No’. Today, I received a T5 for the over $1,000 interest on that joint account & was listed as Primary, with my SIN on it. Now, must return to that branch to get this corrected. Unprofessional!
