I visited this branch to process an overseas wire transfer, specifically to avoid currency conversion by handling it in person. Unfortunately, the wire instructions were entered incorrectly by the staff, which resulted in an unintended conversion(which I specifically asked not to do) and a loss of ~$1000 The branch refused to take responsibility or process a refund, and I’ve been stuck in their escalation process for over a month with no resolution. Wasn't super busy at noon, and was seen quickly. Got everything I needed within 10 minutes.
I had an AMAZING time at this branch today! The tellers name is William! I highly recommend recommending him to ANYONE! He is super professional and friendly and supportive! I willl make sure comeback to William!
I visited this CIBC branch on March 7th to get a bank draft for my move, and I had a great experience. Frederick (I hope I got the name right!) was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the process. He assisted me with the paperwork for my elevator booking deposit and made everything quick and easy. His friendly attitude really stood out and made the visit pleasant.
