I have been with CIBC for almost 48 yrs and using this location since it opened. Over the last few years the service from banking advisors has declined drastically. Very slow to respond, missed online meetings and no courtesy call to reschedule or explain why. Note: the tellers at the counter have always been helpful and pleasant to deal with.
No one picks up the phone most of the time. I waste lot of time in reaching out. IVR entangles and no more - one call away service. But they continue banking charges - what for?
I visited this branch during a stressful time when I urgently needed credit. The advisor, Arju Manara Khan was helpful only until she got me to sign on as a client for a credit card. She completed a hard credit check and told me I was pre-approved for $5,000, but after that, she stopped following through. Every time I reached out, she kept stalling with stupid excuses and never completed my application.
