Friendly staff but CIBC is probably the worst for customer satisfaction. Extremely long wait times (phone or in person). Outdated tech and procedures leads to extreme inefficiency and more delays. Avoid CIBC at all costs in my opinion.
Bank teller KIARYA JOSEPH made a simple error on a Global Money Transfer she was completing for me- BUT, a potential $200,000.00 mistake. Rather than own up to her simple mistake and work towards fixing it immediately, blame was shifted on to me- and since then I have been ignored! It is STILL UNRESOLVED. I was in this branch yesterday attempting to bank an important cheque for a property transaction. There was no line up but the teller that was available gave no eye contact and continued to giggle with her colleague. He name was Kina or keda. Finally she waved me forward without looking at me. I presented the bank draft and printed details about where the cheque should be deposited and explained what I wanted her to do referencing the documents I gave her.
