Day 12 of a 10 day investigation. I call in to see where the status is of this investigation and am met by a supervisor who says "Oh it's only day 12 of the investigation" when IT SHOULD ONLY TAKE 10 days. She then tells me that I am a problem customer (for the fact that I have called every day for the last 4 days to see about my case, which has not even been looked at as of today). The ATM inside has seen better days- 20 years ago! The panel is so broken & damaged, with literal pieces of plastic missing, and not to mention is also incredibly filthy. It looks post-apocalyptic and I'm surprised the poor thing still functions. Absolutely disgusting and pathetic that a bank seemingly can't be bothered to replace this. That sharp plastic could cut someone and I've observed it being like this for quite some time now, looking more and more damaged as time goes on. Absolutely terrible customer service. They never (i.e., never) answer the phone, are very slow (if ever) to respond. And then no follow-up. It seems like staff who are just phoning it in until they get a different job.
Zero customer service all way up to the branch manager. Just dont bother opening any accounts.
Such long line ups. Why don’t they have enough staff working here. Always an issue. CIBC makes billions of dollars and they can’t keep staff? I don’t understand. Totally unacceptable.
