No compassion and terrible customer service. The lady infront of me asked to speak with someone as money from a canceled account was still being drawn. Answer was that person is on their lunch break. As for me, I had arrived 2 hours early to cancel an account for my recently decreased mother. I explained this saying I was losing stamina and would appreciate an earlier appointment. The answer again was no. People are very busy there. I saw no sign of that and will not return to that branch again. Give your people some emotion... read more

Im in a wheelchair and went to back few times and still the person I had to deal with was TONY YEUNG. He’s completely careless and unhelpful I’m really disappointed, hope I won’t see him there again!!!

This is the second time I’ve had to bring my mother in a wheelchair to this CIBC branch, and both visits were frustrating. The first time, we were told to call the number on the card — which turned out to be wrong, as the issue had to be fixed in-branch. Today, we came back, and “Tony Yeung” at the front desk was extremely unhelpful. I clearly explained the situation, but he kept repeating, “What do you want?” with zero understanding or effort. Typically bank elsewhere but had to address a transaction issue. Worst banking experience that I've ever had. I called their general customer service line after such a negative approach in-person at the branch. The help center on the phone was 180 degrees to the poor service here. I had my question answered within minutes and I hung up happy with the resolution. Recommend calling rather going to this branch if possible.
