Absolutely frustrating experience — everything is painfully slow, even the simplest tasks take forever. There’s always a long queue, and clearly not enough staff to handle the volume. I’m glad I already closed my account with them, and I’ll be closing the Visa as well. CIBC is declining in quality day by day.
Disappointed with Poor Communication and Lack of Staff & Management Training at This Branch I went out of my way to visit this CIBC branch specifically to close a business credit card that I’m not using and did not want to be charged an annual fee for. Sasha just seems to be a lazy advisor, took 7 months to get back to me , but by the time he reached out I had already done everything at another bank 4 months ago. Please if you need things to be done in a timely manner AVOID Sasha as he states “ it’s normal “ waiting times waiting 7 months to do that took another bank 6 weeks
Tellers are nice and helpful and don’t rush you even when there’s a line of people , my first time meeting with a expert at this location since my move and now I have to find another branch . Met up with Sasha and he was very rushed and would make comments to make us feel dumb , not sure if he was having a bad day but he’s unfriendly. We left and don’t want to come back . 65 years in life and never felt this unimportant while moving money to a new bank
Delay in processing T5 slips for my savings account. T5 slips should be sent out by the end of Feb and I haven't received it. The online representative said that they had reached out to the branch for access for multiple times but no one responded.
