Wait 1 hr to get a simple transaction done. Manager do not care.
Very slow customer service and always a lineup. A bit dated too.
Horrible and unsafe banking practices. I was distracted and forgot to pick up the cash from the ATM. Later I went to branch and I was told the machine did to retract the notes and cash was sitting there on the ATM for 20 minutes exposed to public before someone else took it. All modern machines suck in back uncollected cash after 30 seconds. CIBC should be held accountable for operating unsafe and not following the banking laws set bt FCAC. I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at this branch while visiting Toronto on holiday. I attempted to use the ATM to check if I could withdraw cash, but after seeing the high transaction fee and unfavorable exchange rate, I canceled the transaction. No money was dispensed, and I took my card and left. To my shock, within 30 minutes, the full transaction amount ($215 CAD) showed up as deducted from my account—despite no cash ever being withdrawn.
