Heads up if you're trying to settle an estate: If you enjoy sitting through mortgage sales pitches and then being ghosted about the actual estate business, this is the branch for you. Otherwise, pick another CIBC location.
Given the size of this branch the customer service is incredibly poor. A lineup at opening and they didn’t even open on time. To then only have 2 tellers working is very disappointing. Who I can only presume was the branch manager was more concerned that her name badge and cancer ribbon was attached to her clothes than actually helping the customers. I requested to close my account a year ago. But recently got a call saying I have outstanding account service fee. I currently live in Scarborough and they want me to go to the oshawa branch to file a complaint. I did sign an agreement to close the account. Not sure what's happening. The service is really worse.
If I could, I would give this branch a big fat ZERO. The amount of help they provide is definitely based on the Skin Color of the customer. I requested an exception for a service and I was told it cannot be done but someone else did it and they were given and even provided additional advice of how to do the next steps. Not worth the hassle, I would rather drive further down to another branch
