I received a notice to pick up a package at 5:30 on Friday and the branch closes at 5:00, isn't open on weekends and I needed this package before Monday. Now I have no use for it, and CIBC has lost a customer. Incredibly poorly managed notification system - why on Earth would you notify people that their items can be picked up AFTER your branch closes BEFORE a weekend when the branch is not open on the weekend??? Awful awful awful
If Costco’s Mastercard wasn’t with CIBC I would never do business with this bank! Had to go into the branch to pick up a replacement credit card. If you work normal office hours, too bad, you’ll have to take time off just to come in during the banks hours. There is no one at the front service desk, instead a crude handwritten sign directs you to get into line for the teller desks, even if you have a simple inquiry or pick-up. There were only two tellers working, and about three other staff just walking around behind the desk... read more
