My only basis for the one-star review is that I received a call, in Russian or Ukrainian, from this number. Because I can understand the language somewhat, it was about some kind of promotion. I told them wrong number, hung up, and they called back from this number right after, which I ignored. Surprised to Google the number and see it is an actual CIBC branch. I don’t bank at CIBC nor do I live in Barrie.
Let me tell you about a CIBC bank manager named Lisa Marie Henry, not so much a bank employee but an ambassador for the human race. CIBC you are lucky to have such a kind, empathetic, cheerful, and professional employee who cares and knows her job. My partner and I came in on a Saturday at noon, at the cundles branch where LMH was working that day, not even her own bank, and she went out of her way it felt like to help us with some account changes and cashing large check. The drive thru atm is always broken , ive been trying to deposit money for the past 3 days and the wothdrawl is not available. Such an inconvenience
One teller day before a holiday is crazy making seniors stand for such a long period of time is not cool! 5 ppl left line up behind me.
Terrible service, incompetent staff, After ordering usd, It takes 1 week to receive 15K usd from my own account. And if you dont pick up on that day, they send the money back and you have to wait another week. Unbelievable
