Joshua was going down the line asking everyone what they were there for and if he could help, which I really appreciated. I am very disappointed with my experience at this CIBC branch today. I had a confirmed appointment at 1:50 PM. However, Ms. Liya Wang, the branch manager, allowed another client who did not have an appointment to go ahead of me to see an advisor. As a result, I was kept waiting for approximately 20 minutes despite having a scheduled time. Respecting appointments and basic client priority is a fundamental standard of professional service. Review for branch manager , Liya Wang I had an appointment to see an adviser ,but we were ignored. The manager, Liya Wang, called another customer from the teller and sent them to the adviser before us, even though we already had an appointment and were waiting. It was very disappointing to see that scheduled appointments were not respected and someone without an appointment was prioritized. I felt very humiliated during my conversation with consultant Maryam. When we wanted to cash a check for my mom (she didn’t have a bank accaunt at that time), bank consultant first said it will cost an additional $5 fee on every check, asked my mom to signit, then, she pointed that the check is 4 months old, said she couldn't do it and we'd be in trouble.
