I went to this branch today. I wanted to open a GIC. I asked the front desk person who responded, yes, I could do that there through an investment advisor. He added that today and tomorrow, all the advisors were busy. That perhaps Thursday or Friday might be possible. I asked whether I could that with a phone call. He said yes but he does not know whether they will validate my identity! In short, low engaging responses. I turned around.
Quite a useless branch, if I am diverted to other locations for the most basic things. I only used the atm before because of their limited hours.
You should mention its a meeting place on google maps like the rbc one next to you. I drove all the way and found that it doesn’t have tellers!!
Useless location. They literally have a sign at the front desk saying there's no tellers or cashiers at this location, other than ATM usage and financial advisors. Bruh. Doesn't that defeat the main purpose of a bank? The closest location with real people would be Dundas & Postmaster.
Worst branch of CIBC no one in front disc and when asked for help to pay a bill I was denied
