Worst bank ever. The staff is ridiculous slow and it took me 30 mins to pay a simple bill. I am closing my account
Opened an RESP account for my kids when they were born- a family account for 3 kids, have had it open with them for 12 years. Recently we wanted to transfer that and our other accounts to a private investment firm. Was told our application to transfer the RESP was rejected because they listed one of my daughters with the wrong date of birth. Called, can't change it over the phone. I'm a long time client of CIBC, I recently relocate to Langley and need to find a new advisor because my ex advisor is not licensed to practice in BC. Marlo Conrad, the financial associate, seems doesn't want to take new client, asked very annoying questions after seeing my profile. Why I need to change advisor? Why not just call the help center and they will assign me to one advisor. He said he will call me to set up an appointment with the financial advisor but no call after 2 weeks. Very bad customer service they didn’t help to solve my problem they don’t speak properly and they Hang up the phone in my face I don’t recommend them at all
I went in today to open an account and get a visa and a mortgage rate. I was told to go sit down after waiting forever. After an hour of waiting I left went across the street to BMO and they helped me immediately.
