I bank with Simplii but I'm able to use the CIBC atms. A month ago one of the atms took a bill and didn't deposit it into my account, or return it. I reported it to staff inside the bank and it was brought to light that there had been reports from other customers that they too had money taken by the atm and not deposited or returned. The cibc employee took my info, saying they would look into it, and... nothing. I'll be using a different branch from now on
Terrible customer service. Been trying to open a business investors edge account for a month now, only hear from the advisor when I reach out for the 10th time. Been a terrible experience- only using cibc for the trading account cause its linked to my banking but I could have easily opened one with another institution weeks ago.
Amazing Branch , All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff at this branch are exceptional I've dealt with many of the financial advisors and the manager and they always go above and beyond.
Friendly and cooperative staff. Nayyir helped me a lot and dedicated his time to solving my issue with a credit card. Generally, staff has limited access to modify credit cards, which results in lots of back and forth with back system. As a result, it is a month passed, and the issue with taking a new credit card has not been solved.
