The pizza was fabulous…sauce was great. My bolognese was to die for. Portion very generous, had for dinner and two lunches. There take home containers are much better than styrofoam.
Food: excellent Atmosphere: excellent My frustration is because I felt blind-sided and lied to. Some friends and I wanted to try a new restaurant for our weekly night out. I found this on Google Maps. Then I always check the hours and days a restaurant is open. On line it says it opens at 4:00. Ok. Trattoria Ciao has always, and was again last night, been an excellent meal. The atmosphere is that of an old world Italian restaurant. And, on top, the food is always top drawer!
Overall it was fine. The price is higher than most and is restaurant is small, so I would absolutely say reservations are needed. We took my mom for Mother’s Day, our preferred Italian Restaurant was not open on Sunday. The menu is limited as a lot of what they serve is pizza. Plus no vegetable or salad comes with the meal. Parking was difficult as they have no restaurant parking and you must park across the street and my mom has a walker and is very limited in her walking. I ordered 2 pizzas for pick up. They were ready on time as they predicted and my family enjoyed the authentic taste and simple ingredients. They were quite like the pizzas we experienced in Milano.
