A friend(South Asian) and I(White) went to Ciao last night for dinner and our waitress was deeply agitated and aggressive towards my friend. His drink was completely flat, she seemed offended when he politely asked for a straw, and slammed his dish down on the table. She changed her tone completely between speaking to me and speaking to him, in a very demeaning manner. It was very clear that we weren’t welcome there. Staff was super friendly. We went during a quiet time and it was nice. They didnt have a drink my kid wanted but made a "fun" drink for them. Food was amazing too. Ill definitely be back when im in town again.

The food tasted homemade, but not in a good way. The pizza had a chewy dough, and although I ordered the quattro formaggio, I couldn’t taste four different cheeses—it was mostly like mozzarella. I also ordered the chicken parmesan, which seemed to have store-bought sauce, overcooked pasta, and tasteless, frozen chicken. The waitress was great, though. Unfortunately, I left feeling heavy and ended up having stomach problems later.

Shrimp scampi delish! The servers, so nice e&accommodating. Glad we came here on our last night 8n town. The mozzarella wedges, wow, thanks for the tip to get them to the young lady serving, they were great!
