We completed all the required intake steps for occupational therapy — including extensive forms, required observation, assessment, and uploading everything into a very complicated, outdated online system. The process took a significant amount of time and effort on our end. The intake process is very rigid and inefficient. Intelligent, compassionate, genuine therapists/staff that take the extra time to get to know both your child/their client & the extended family members. You are treated as FAMILY & there is always a sense of warmth & safety when you walk through the front door. You know your child is in great hands & will be well taken care of. The events & outside resources provided are also a HUGE benefit & allow opportunities to meet with other parents & therapists, within the Madison community!!!!
Something I love about CI is how they schedule. We can find a day and time to meet and it stays the same and I don't have to reschedule it every 4-6 weeks like with UW! It gives consistency to our schedule which my children need and I like as it takes a burden off me. CI also has lots of resources and can help you find other things to support your child. We have been using CI-Verona since they opened. I can’t say enough good things about all the staff who work there. Always welcoming and truly have the child’s best interest at heart. We are lucky to have a location in Verona.
My son has been getting CI's service only recently, but I couldn't be any happier with their services. From the care coordinator to the Feeding, Speech, Occupational therapists, everyone is welcoming, friendly, loving and considerate of my son's individual needs and wants.
