What a wonderful surprise to walk into Chuy's for the first time. It was like walking into a museum artifact eatery! Of course the food and presentation was delicious, but I also was taken back by the decor. After eating the scrumptious meal (with enough for left overs), I actually walked around the entire restaurant to enjoy the paintings, pictures, and trinkets all over the walls, ceilings and floor. Food good
Chuy's has really fallen! It's been a few years since our last visit. In a less than busy Wednesday at 6:30pm it was half empty, service was slow and the staff didn't seem to be paying attention or even care about the customers. Very laxidasial, unfocussed, and sloppy. Food was slow out of the kitchen and not that hot or impressive. It took forever to get cocktails, salsa, silverware, you name it. "Is there a competent manager in the house?" Overall the place looked sloppy and dirty. We won't be back!
Yona was very attentive and extremely personable. She made it a point to celebrate our family birthday and generally seemed invested in our experience! Our visit was the best guest service I’ve had in a while!
