This is not a Septa station. It's been closed since I moved here in the 80s. There is no service. It was going to be torn down until a group formed to preserve it. I don't know if it's a private property, private residence, or still owned by Septa, but it is nothing but a landmark now. It's pretty, though.
This shouldn’t be listed whatsoever. This station has been defunct since the early 80s, due to an accident involving an ARCO fuel tanker and a truck operator. The area was in flames following the collision and SEPTA opted to cease operations in 1983.
The train never came?
My train passed by this train station when I went to the reading market with my sister and I like how old it looked and well preserved septa has kept it!
