Southern tradition This is a fun place to go on Saturday mornings where you meet your local growers and produce providers. The food is great and fresh and you can get some one of a kind special items like breads, honey, and jellies. All home and fresh made!
Church Street Market While in the Marietta Square area , stop by Church Street Market. It is a cute little shop that specializes in true GA products. You will find local preserves , sauces , seeds , and much more !
Cute specialty store off the square in Marietta This store has a little bit of everything. From homegrown Georgia food to garden seeds and other garden items. It is a definate stop to make when strolling through Marietta, Ga.
Lots of Charm This is one of the most adorable shops in Marietta Square. I love coming here for things to put into my gift baskets. They have gourmet foods, garden seeds, fresh flowers and little accessories for your home. There is a fight for parking as the square is always crowded but even if you park further away you have a nice walk to the store and back. They are closed on Sundays so if you are a weekend shopper plan on getting there early on Saturday.
Great selection of local goodness and the owners are so kind.
So this establishment thought it would be okay to call the police on a black canvasser raising money for the Human Rights Campaign on public property. Luckily, the officer was understanding and supportive of the organization, but I am appalled that in this climate of police brutality they even had the notion that that was acceptable behavior. Especially since the Human Rights Campaign is trying to do so much good for marginalized people.
