I had a great meal at Chungdam - the food was very good (I was particularly impressed by the quality of the beef - everyone was obsessed it was so good - and the jangajji pickles made of okra and asparagus were also memorable) and the restaurant had a very warm, intimate atmosphere. I’ve been here once, and I would never come back because I could easily find a better Korean restaurant in London. We ordered BBQ, and it was pretty decent for the quality of the meat, but I would say it was overpriced. I wasn’t the only one who said that; all of my friends did, too. Maybe we were paying for the restaurant’s ambiance. We also ordered their beef soup and bibimbap. The beef soup was good, like a 6.8/10, but the bibimbap was bland and lacked flavor. I had the Seoul Galbi and it was honestly so good!! The food was delicious and the service was great too. Nick especially took really good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely come back!
