I have been seeing Dr. Chung for at least 10 years because of Barrett’s and colon cancer screening because I have had pre-cancerous polyps. I can’t say enough good things about him, he’s thorough and listens, explains everything in a way I can understand. He’s kind and gentle, I would recommend him to anyone who needs medical attention and advice.
On April 8 2024 I met with Dr. Joseph Y. Chung MD gastroenterologist. This was my first time meeting with Dr. Chung because I was experiencing some severe bowel movement. My appointment with Dr. Chung went extremely well. I was told I needed to do a Colonoscopy. After meeting with Dr. Chung I started to take the necessary steps to send my medical information to the practice for him to review. Dr chung has done three surgeries for me. All three were due to a hernia in my stomach and he has always taken great care of me. He explains everything he is going to do and explains all the side effects and what can happen. He is the best surgeon I have found that genuinely cares about his patients and keeps up with how they are doing after surgery. He makes sure you are comfortable even when the surgery isn't. If you want an amazing surgeon chung is the one to go to.
