On April 8 2024 I met with Dr. Joseph Y. Chung MD gastroenterologist. This was my first time meeting with Dr. Chung because I was experiencing some severe bowel movement. My appointment with Dr. Chung went extremely well. I was told I needed to do a Colonoscopy. Dr chung has done three surgeries for me. All three were due to a hernia in my stomach and he has always taken great care of me. He explains everything he is going to do and explains all the side effects and what can happen. He is the best surgeon I have found that genuinely cares about his patients and keeps up with how they are doing after surgery. He makes sure you are comfortable even when the surgery isn't. If you want an amazing surgeon chung is the one to go to.
Dr Chung made me feel very comfortable with a all around uncomfortable procedure. He contacted me directly on a couple of occasions to discuss results and his plan. He explains all the details until you completely understand. I was very impressed by him and his staff. Very nice man that is very educated with a excellent bedside manner!
