After being diagnosed with epilepsy following nocturnal seizures, I was initially apprehensive about my appointment with Dr. Chu due to some negative reviews. However, with limited availability elsewhere, I decided to keep my appointment, and I'm very glad I did. Dr. Chu provided an exceptionally positive experience. He spent nearly an hour thoroughly answering my questions, educating me about epilepsy, and explaining my treatment options. He only cares about pushing medicine and watching people suffer, he's very rude and condescending when asked questions like he's annoyed that you even asked. I once asked him a question on part of my significant other because he had already made them feel stupid, his reply to my question was “i know more than you do so don't worry about it” he also says he doesn't care a single bit about the side effects of the medicine he's giving out
I have met A LOT of neurologists throughout my 17 years of living with Epilepsy. I move cities often and have a very complex situation so I’ve been trying to find a good, stable neurologist to help me. DO NOT SEE DR CHU. I’m not sure how he received any good reviews because he is terrible. I’m in the process of finding legal action against him because of what he’s been putting me through with my meds.
