I called in and asked if they had a certain pair of parts. Ken assured me they did. I drove 1.5 hours one way to buy them…only to be told they didn’t have the parts. Nobody apologized or show any regret for wasting my time and gas. They just shrugged their shoulders and moved on without a word. Now, should you decide to go to their office to check if they have a part you need, don’t expect a friendly reception. Don’t expect them to acknowledge you. Do expect them to ignore you for a good while.
I was back in my home town in Mississippi for a visit from Texas. As things would go I wind up needing an engine. Chuck's had one at a really great price. They got it ready for pick up in a short time. They loaded and tied it down for me on a trailer. After getting back to Texas and installing it, it ran great. I will be moving back home in a few months and will always call chick's first for any salvage yard parts I'll be looking for. Everything was and went great
