Great tasting barbecue! We have eaten at Chubby's on a couple of occasions, but picked up barbecue to bring home more often than that. Chubby's is conveniently located on Route 15 and every time I head up to PA, I stop on the way back for a special treat. The restaurant is spacious and open, but I don't "love" dining in here... the atmosphere is just "okay". But the barbecue is fantastic! It is flavorful and moist, and everything I have had from there, from the barbecue pork to the brisket, has been excellent!
Chubby's Barbeque is barely adequate Although their corn bread is delicious, their BBQ products are extremely erratic. The quality is sometimes excellent and sometimes mediocre. Too bad because we are deprived of really great BBQ around this area.
Barbecue done right We have a picky family, all of whom like something different when it comes to eating out. Chubby's is a place we can all agree on and find something that more than pleases. We have even taken out of town guests there and they have been delighted! The potions are so big, I've gotten a dinner and a couple of left-over lunches from the brisket platter! This place is worth the drive and a blind-eye to the pretty stripped down decor!
