I had a very poor experience at New Dawn. We had group meetings which we shared our stories and I believed this information was confidential. I found out after leaving the treatment centre that Chrysalis staff shared information to my family without my knowledge. They advertise there is a doctor available but only a certain amount of residents can speak to the doctor per week. I am a Type 1 Diabetic and they withheld my insulin from me on multiple occasions. I am so grateful to have been suggested, to go to 2nd stage housing, post treatment, and words cannot express how extremely blessed that i feel to have made the decision to come to Chysalis societies New Way. I spent 13 months at New way, and was really happy about my decision to come here. The Comadre in the house was . excellent and I so appreciate the time I Spent with my sisters, Chrysalis was instrumental in my recovery As I move forward in my life. Living at New Way for 10 months has been one of the best decisions I've made for myself. The support, structure, and most importantly, the connections I made with other women created a space where I could heal.
