My handicapped grandson has a health problem that can take his life and we are here now . The technician just told him that it was a waste of his time trying to get a vein for his IV and made my grandson apologize. He told my grandson that they are here just to put bandages on people and send them home. Now that's sorry.
Terrible experience here. The NP did not want to treat me. The nitrate wasn’t working for my chest pain (I have 3 stents in my heart and microvascular dysfunction) and they refused to give me anything else for the pain. The nurse I had (male Nurse was wonderful) he was the only good thing about this experience. If you are looking for pain relief, you will not get that here.
I went in with a severely swollen wrist that I could barely move. The front desk interaction wasn't great; the person was busy chatting, cut me off when I tried to explain my issue, and just handed me a clipboard. Thankfully, the nurses in the back were very nice. However, my experience with Dr. S. Tammy was incredibly frustrating. She barely examined my wrist, immediately assumed I had carpal tunnel, and tried to discharge me without even asking about my pain level or where it hurt. This place is horrible!! My wife sat in the waiting room for 2 hours and watched people come and go that came in after her. We finally got fed up, left and went to Texarkana ER & Hospital. They got us right in to see the doctor within 5 minutes of getting there.
