Was treated like a person. Staff took the time to listen, and acted like they really cared, unlike the place down the street. Got there at 1030/11p, immediately into triage, saw the doctor within 10 mins of getting a room with a bed and TV. They gave us our discharge papers with script by 1am. We had been at the other place twice in the last 2 days. Here, my wife and I didn't feel like just a number. My 3 yr old granddaughter was taken to this facility yesterday because she was complaining of pain in her arm after practicing a tumbling routine at my house. Dr.E Tan examined my granddaughter and ordered x-rays. My son informed the doctor that my granddaughter suffers from nurses elbow. The x-rays came back clear from any breakage. My son asked Dr. E-Tan again if his daughter’s arm wasn’t dislocated to which she rudely replied to him “NO”! She made him feel very dumb for asking again. Going to the ER isn’t something that is planned, or pleasant:) However, my recent visit here was exceptional. I have VA Healthcare (disabled veteran) and ended up here after having difficulty getting in with a VA provider. The check-in process was super quick and easy, and I was immediately ushered into a room for treatment. I was attended to by an array of doctors, nurses, and administrative professionals and each of them were kind and helpful throughout the couple of hours I was there.
