I went to the ER in the WORST pain of my life two months after my baby was born while I was visiting family. I felt like I was going to die. I never received any pain meds. I never received any labs or other tests. The doctor diagnosed my intense pain as "gas" and I was humiliated and sent on my way. The ER doctor charged $635 for his 'services'.
