Dr. J BALES is so rude and disrespectful. I came in because I had I guess you could say pinworms in my stool something I’ve never experienced before in my 35 years of living. Had been to the hospital 48 hours prior to discovering it and he came in and went off saying “that’s something you tell a dr when you come” but I’d discussed it with the nurse she just didn’t tell him that yet because she was still doing triage when he stormed in. In the early morning hours when we needed help the most, the team at CHRISTUS Emergency Center was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in we were met with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. Tonight was my 2nd visit to this facility and I can honestly say I have never had such a great experience. Last time I was in and out in no time with meds needed for what was going on. Staff very friendly from start to finish. Nurses worked together wonderfully and efficiently and doc explained diagnoses and meds he was prescribing. Tonight went a little different at the end. Came in around 4 in the afternoon, people at the front desk were welcoming and friendly, my nurse was super nice took my vitals asked me what my concerns were for the visit and i explained that i had a torn nail , the nail and the acrylic nail were torn off but still hanging on the nail and underneath was full of pus and blood. when the provider came in she literally just looked at my nail and said “wow i know that hurts” didn’t attempt to clean it didn’t even touch the nail just looked at it and said “ill call you in some a... read more
