Horrible care at this ER. They Refused to treat my pain when I have a heart condition and stents in my heart, and was having chest pain. They also contacted Dr Patel who was on call, who refused to treat me when I was admitted into the ER weeks ago. This facility was horrible. Dr Patel (cardiology) is horrible and arrogant. They do everything they can to get around treating your pain, claiming that everyone these days wants drugs. I would NOT go here if you expect them to help you manage pain.
Warning! You'd better have some deep pockets. I had 6 stitches placed in a cut on my little finger. The bill was over $4500. I can assure you I will never return.
Dr. J BALES is so rude and disrespectful. I came in because I had I guess you could say pinworms in my stool something I’ve never experienced before in my 35 years of living. Had been to the hospital 48 hours prior to discovering it and he came in and went off saying “that’s something you tell a dr when you come” but I’d discussed it with the nurse she just didn’t tell him that yet because she was still doing triage when he stormed in. In the early morning hours when we needed help the most, the team at CHRISTUS Emergency Center was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in we were met with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. Every single person, from the receptionist who greeted us, to the nurses and doctors who treated my daughter, made us feel seen, heard, and respected. Tonight was my 2nd visit to this facility and I can honestly say I have never had such a great experience. Last time I was in and out in no time with meds needed for what was going on. Staff very friendly from start to finish. Nurses worked together wonderfully and efficiently and doc explained diagnoses and meds he was prescribing. Tonight went a little different at the end.
