Excellent doctor, listens, knowledgable, works with patient to include you in a care plan. I was going through a series of miscarriages, and thankfully my OBGYN was able to discuss my history and case with Dr. Schoonover and he was able to get me in right away. He understood everything, adjusted my medication, and because of him my next pregnancy stuck. I moved and never got to properly thank him. Thank you Dr. Schoonover for listening and caring. Had a virtual visit. Arrived on time. Staff did intake. Waiting on Dr Schoonover. He never arrived, I was still in the virtual meeting. Waited till 1pm and then he logged off the virtual meeting. The entire time I heard people talking and moving, laughing and playing music. Why did I get a miss call at 1155a when I was still on the call the video appt the entire time? he called on 2 of the numbers that was in the chart but because we were trying not to be disrespectful and give him our attention we had put the phones on vibr... read more
I have seen him four times and he is always friendly, answers my questions, and explains everything for my treatment. He keeps a brisk pace, which I appreciate. I don't care for doctors who waste my time or theirs with a too wordy appointment. I don't need a best friend, I need a doctor who gets to the point while being kind, and moves it along. :)
Agreed 100 % with complaint below. Late on telehospital visit, began conversation accusatory because I obtained care elsewhere. Repetitively talks over me/patient without listening. Strongly recommend avoiding.
