Despite emailing ahead and them stating the kitchen shuts at 5, we arrived at 4:20 and the kitchen was already shut because of the weather?! Rain apparently means food cannot be cooked. We paid �12 for parking due to this being the best rated gluten free in the area. Waste of time and money.
Excellent sausage roll with stuffing and cranberry. Veggie brekkie was excellent value. Former pub with views across to the Britannia pier.
The staff are hard working and polite and the place is friendly and clean, however the food this time round was arguably the poorest and greasiest I’ve ever tasted. This isn’t a reflection on Christopher’s itself, I’ve eaten here before with no complaints. From my experience I’d never eat fish and chips from here ever again. Good luck.
