My first (and only) visit I saw Dr. Landry and it was disappointing at best. Interacted with the Dr. for ~15 minutes- about 10 of that was educating him on things already in my file, He was unprepared, scripted, made us feel unseen and unheard. Did not provide patient education, did not review my file, did not offer any sympathy in regards to an emergent situation, did not review medical history (healthcare 101 especially with new patients!), rushed us out of the room without asking us if we had further questions. Just 3 months ago I went into the tawas office because I have a 4 year old nexplanon that I thought was about to expire, (come to find out there good for 5 years) anyways I explained to the office I was done with birthcontrol and I was ready to make the executive decision to get permanently sterilized. But with having 4 kids and a job that gets very busy the month of may timing was the issue (we were in march) they got the paperwork ready for me, seeing as medicaid needs the consent to be signed for 30 days and scheduled my ... read more
