I, unfortunately, needed to have an ablation performed and was referred to Dr. Porterfield by my regular cardiologist. Dr Porterfield was very thorough in his explanation of the procedure and what to expect. The day of the procedure he was very calming, again went over what was going to happen during the procedure, and what to expect afterwards. I recently saw him for a follow-up after the ablation.
