My name is Brenda Jimenez - Harbst.. I saw Dr Palma in 2019-2020 when I was 29 and he told me I was too young to have all these symptoms and turns me away. I later moved to CA to get better medical attention and a rheumatologist here diagnosed me with lupus. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge doctor Palma and his dismissal of women because we’re “too young “ to have an autoimmune disease. Don’t waste your time here
Only seems to want to access 1 specific issue vs the whole body as a whole. That 1 issues... Orthopedic sent me to him because my hands and arms were experiencing issues that don't look nor align with Carpel Tunnel. Yet that's all he keeps saying it is. Even after surgery, "well it just hasn't healed enough yet!". Or maybe you don't want to look beyond 1 ultrasound on my hands and consider other options. Differential diagnosis is not an option. I’ve seen some pretty derogatory reviews about Dr. Palma’s demeanor, but I thought he was pretty damn sharp, and seemed very intently focussed on my condition/concerns. I think he’s just really smart and thinks quickly. This might rub some folks the wrong way, but I get it, and I actually felt really good about the care I received and his level of confidence.
Smart and patient centered MD. Not a warm fuzzy but not dismissive. Explains everything and makes sure all questions are answered and you understand the next steps. Very professional and offers his best plan of action. Great MD, very clear.
