Review for Dr. Christopher P. Eckstein, MD – Duke Hospital I’m 21 years old and recently had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Eckstein. I was referred to him by my previous Duke neurologist, who treated me as a child for autoimmune encephalitis (AE). Since that doctor has since moved from NC, he recommended I see Dr. Eckstein because he is the head of neurology. Dr Eckstein explained my treatment plan and any side effects I may experience. He answered my questions and was patient and attentive to my concerns about my treatment plan. Within the first week of taking prescribed medicine I noticed the biggest change after 3 years with no diagnosis. The Neurology department as a whole is ran by kind, attentive professionals!
