I had a great experience with the hospital staff, surgeon and my umbilical hernia surgery.
I highly recommend Dr Olukoga. He recently performed surgery to repair three hernias for me and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. He was recommended by two of my friends and I’m very glad I followed their advice. I'm glad I went with Dr Okaluga for my hernia surgeries (robotic assisted laparoscopic inguinal, femoral, and umbilical hernia). Very happy with the results. He took time to explain my conditions in all the visits and loved the detailed notes of the operation and the follow-up visits on the Advent Health mobile App. Highly recommended!!! The one improvement I would like to see from Advent Health would be more responsive communication when I called to ask related questions leading up to the surgery.
In looking for a five star Dr, thank goodness I found Dr. Olukoga! My 80 year old gallbladder had not been good for years and the pain became worse. I was afraid of this surgery. Dr. Olukoga scheduled surgery right away. During the procedure, he found inflammation that required a different technique to remove the gallbladder safely. It took extra care and extra time. Travel time from my home was 1 1/2 hours and so worth it. I am here today because of his expertise. He’s a fantastic surgeon and a very kind human being.
Dr. O was fantastic, he is kind, caring, and so knowledgeable. He visited me many times over my stay and was so helpful with information and reassurance. I felt like I was in the best hands in my emergency situation.
