The actual initial visit/biopsy of a skin cancer on my face went fine. I was advised that biopsy results would take about a week and they would call me. Not to be unfortunately, 3.5 weeks of waiting for the results, and after several calls to the office, I was finally told it was basal cell - but had it been other, that waiting would have impacted on it’s progression. Not good. I don’t recommend this practice because of the delay in getting results
Dr Barnard is an exceptional physician. He is by far the best dermatologist I have met. He’s kind, very knowledgeable and skilled. I feel lucky to have found a state of the art clinician and problem solver who I completely trust. Recommended without any reservations!!
Excellent clinician Flexible Knowledable Friendly
Dirty office, unprofessional staff, never on time
I could write a four page review on every single negative aspect of Barnard Dermatology from the staff, to billing to the doctor, but I will summarize to say I went in to have one mole removed, they removed 6 moles without ever seeing me before, did the wrong biopsy on the one I went in for and did a botch job on a completely unnecessary mole on my lower back causing me now 5 months of lower back pain. In middle of my treatment they were evicted from their property and in and out of business. F-
Extremely long wait for an annual checkup appointment, at least 6-7 mos. The office staff is very good, but the quality of doctor/patient interaction has somewhat degraded . The appointments feel rushed, as to stay on schedule.
They have a problem calling back
I have never been served on time and often have to wait for a very long time to be seen by the doctor. It is hard to get a call back from staff. It is hard to get a timely appointment. Believe this doctor has taken on too many patients and forgotten about his long time, loyal patients.
