Caring, thorough, confident. An excellent doctor!
Dr. Lay is a great doctor but his office manager treats patients disgustingly. Called 7 times and my pharmacy called 5 times for no answer. When I finally got an appt and came in with a screenshot of the email confirmation I received of the time that was scheduled, the manager said I was too late ( I arrived 15 mins before the appointment). The manager screamed at me and actually threw her hands in my face. She also yelled for the staff to make sure they delayed my future appointment so I couldn't get my blood pressure medic... read more
The doctor's very nice and friendly and doesn't rush you And the staff is friendly but I was told By a phone call that my cholesterol is high But on the papers of my blood work it did not even have my cholesterol account to find it out from the office and 3 different times and they tell me they will call me back because that particular person did not know it and the person that keeps on call me back still doesn't know it then today they told me they would call me after 2 o'clock today and so far Have not Got a call back whic... read more
My uncle is his patient and he's having some mental issues was at the hospital and this Dr did absolutely nothing to help my uncle or his mental help, had an spot today the family gave a note with the symptoms stating he does not know doesn't need back and this scumbag Dr said "this doesn't surprise me" and gives the note to my uncle!! He proceeded to say the hospital should of never released him but he NEVER MADE A CALL TO THE HOSPITAL SAYING TO ADMIT HIM!! Had New Patient appointment in Nov'21 and was impressed with Dr. Lay. Staff was friendly, had no problems. But, in Jan'22 I was having some issues with glucose and called his office for an appointment. I called several times with only a recording, finally left message and no one ever returned the call. I can't continue with a practice that doesn't respond to incoming calls. Very disappointing as I liked him and was very convenient.
