When someone is diagnosed with cancer, their whole world is turned upside down. My job is to help make sense of things and guide where to go from here. It is important to me that patients and their families truly understand the diagnosis and how we are going to treat it together. This is one of the most difficult times in a patient's life, and I will support them wholeheartedly along their journey.

Dr Thompson & his entire staff are like family to me. Dr Thompson has my highest respect & gratitude. Dr Thompson is the best physician I have ever had. He always takes time to listen to me, discuss in depth all my results and answers all of my questions. I hope anyone reading these reviews realizes that the low score ones have nothing to do with Dr. Thompson and remove them and give genuine feed back regarding him as a physician. If you need to rate Mercy's staff, do so on their page and not specific to Dr. Thompson. Dr Thompson is a gem and is always there for his patients.
