There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Hartnick is a talented surgeon, but his ego gets in the way of him being an excellent doctor. If your child is medically complex is any way, proceed with caution.
Dr. Hartnick is fantastic. My son fractured his nose while we were on vacation at the cape. I wasn’t sure where to begin since we live in Chicago but I wanted him to be looked at by someone in Boston. I googled best ent doctors and Mass Eye and Ear came up so I called and was able to get my son in within 3 days after his accident. Not sure how we were so lucky to get Dr. Hartnick but we were beyond pleased with him. Wonderful doctor and a very nice person. He reset my son’s nose within a week of his accident. This was my first time going through something like this, and as a first-time mom, it was an incredibly emotional experience. Everything went perfectly well. Dr. Hartnick and his team were absolutely amazing—so patient, not only with Christopher but also with me. I was really emotional and cried so much, but they were incredibly supportive. Christopher was so brave, and the team made all the difference in helping us through the process. I couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you so much! 😊♥️🙏🏻

The visit we had with this doctor was less than desirable and professional. Especially with seeking out and traveling to what is supposed to be one of the best hospitals. My child received results from a test done at the same hospital the same day. That process went flawlessly and the person conducting the test was kind and professional. However, upon the entry of this doctor it was an immediate understanding that any input about my child was very casually dismissed.
