Really takes care of his patients
Dr. Derbes has an excellent bedside manner. There are not too many physicians that make calls at 7:45pm on a Friday night to discuss pathology results and your next step of care. I greatly appreciate his professionalism but his ability to show compassion and crack a smile.
Dr Derbes can be competent but he is rude and dismissive to people who don't fit into a neat diagnostic box. Because of multiple unpleasant interactions with this provider, I got on the portal and read all my reports before my appointment. Derbes lied about a result so I corrected him...after that he dismissed every word I said... Minimized my experience...and was so nasty that I got of the exam table and told him "never mind, are we done here?". Take a witness to your appointment, write down every word he says....it may sav... read more
