I saw Dr Hueser after a devastating cancer diagnosis.....My wife knew that we were liable to misunderstand or miss something that he said so she asked if she could record the visit....He told us that it was against Mercy's policy and said absolutely not. I like Dr. Hueser very much. I like the way he handled my lung cancer.I like the way he explains what the problem is and how to fix it. Direct and straight to the point. He recommended a surgeon to remove the part of my lung that was bad. As of my last CT scan I am cancer free in my lungs. 9 months ago was my surgery.
Horrible experience with my mother. His words, “You need to take her home to die” I’ll never forget or forgive. My mother walked into the cancer center to get her blood transfusion that morning. She was given platelets as well, which caused her temp to spike. The staff was in the process of transferring her to the hospital when Dr. Hueser (filling in for Dr. Mirza, who was on vacation) stepped in, got upset with the ambulance personnel, and spouted out that horrific statement in front of my mother, who was conscious and able... read more
Dr. Hueser felt sorry for me because no one was listening to my problems. He put me in for a muscle biopsy and found out that I have a very rare genetic disease. He then hooked me up with Cleveland Clinic and they are doing lots of genetic testing for me. Dr. Hueser is not just a doctor to me. He is someone that cares. He listened to me and got me the diagnosis that I needed. He is a wonderful doctor. I would recommend anyone to him in a heartbeat.
