I recently had spinal surgery that was performed by Dr. Heller who I found to be a surgeon who truly is committed to his patient and doing everything possible to ensure a successful outcome with the surgical procedure. Not only did Dr. Heller exceed my expectations, his PA-Cs I met with and the office staff demonstrated they care for the patient. Our family had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Heller. A family member underwent a complex spine surgery and unfortunately was left with severe ongoing pain and disability afterward. Dr Heller was amazing. He explained the surgical procedure and showed us the scans. He was very kind and understanding.
I am 16 weeks out from a fusion and laminectomy. Dr Heller was great! I read all the horror stories online and was so afraid but I listened to him and trusted him and my life is so improved. I was in so much pain from the stenosis I felt hopeless. It was actually getting worse and I got to where I couldn’t even walk half a mile without sitting and resting. Im not sure if doctor heller doesn't like or respect women or he was just having an off day but from the moment I stepped into his office and he walked in the room.
