In 2016 my mother had an infected bypass graft that caused her to become septic….along with other complications. Dr. Trahan traveled to the Northshore St Tammany Hospital as a favor to the Cardio thoracic surgeon and performed an extensive flap taken from my mothers abdomen and placed to her chest wall. Dr. Trahan fights hard to have reviews removed. We will see if this one stays up. I had surgery in 2018 with Dr. Trahan. I can't warn you enough not to have surgery with this man. I find him confusing, a slick salesman, and an avoider. You can find other patients with similar accounts online. I had the SGAP reconstruction. One side didn't get enough blood. This happens a lot with him and other doctors. I believe it happened in the hospital when they kept forcing me into this painful small garment. I also think he knew becaus... read more
Dr. Trahan is very focused at what he does. He is completing his reconstruction work on my cancer and doing it with compassion. He talks to me about what he can and can’t do. He studies His plan very closely, and does an excellent job.

Love Dr. Trahan! He’s an amazing surgeon, and his staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. They are always readily available and they get back with you promptly. The medical facility is impeccable. Everyone from the front desk, medical staff to the doctor are very professional. Dr. T has an outstanding bedside manner.
