What a terrific doctor! He is going to replace my hip, and he went over the x-ray with me and explained very thoroughly (in layman's terms) the apparatus he'll use to replace the hip (he had a model), what it is made of, described type of anesthesia will be used, and the details of the surgery, recuperation, and pain (and he used the word "pain," not "discomfort," bless his honest soul!)
