I switched to Dr LaPorta early in my pregnancy. He’s very intelligent with the 30 plus years of experience. He is very corky & jokey but keeps it real. It may seem like he doesn’t take things serious but that’s what sets him apart from other doctors. He knows when it’s time to play and when it’s time to be serious. I enjoyed my appointments with him especially when we were done with scanning and he’s gives you his one on one opinion in his office. This "doctor" is completely unprofessional! I have never had a gynecologist do a breast palpitation exam all while wearing a bra and a sweatshirt. What kind of exam was that?! I just felt confused and uncomfortable. He also billed my health insurance for a pap smear exam that was never done. His bedside manners are non existent! If only I had recorded the things he said to me in his office I could have definitely sued him for it. He is cold and dismissive! He Lacks Empathy as well. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR TO DELIVER YOUR BABY! ASAP! Doctor Laporta, delivered our son and committed malpractice by using excessive force damaging his nerves and causing him to be disabled and diagnosed with erb’s palsy. Please google about this injury and how it happens, it is due to a doctor not knowing what he or she is doing. We sued him and won the case but he ruined our child’s way of life forever. After finding out I was pregnant with my first child, I was referred to this OB by my regular gynecologist. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the most disappointing and upsetting experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional. To start, the wait time was excessively long. Dr. Laporta is an amazing doctor. He is personable, friendly, kind, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner I put all of my trust in him with both of my deliveries. I would highly recommend him.
