We had a great experience with Christopher Fox Builders. We purchased a spec home in the Ashecroft neighborhood in early 2022 (at the peak of the housing market surge), and interest rates were beginning to climb. Christopher Fox Builders worked hard for us to get our home completed and closed on time before our interest rate lock expired. It was a challenge with material and labor shortages. After house hunting for months, the moment we stepped into what was to become our home at Ashecroft, we knew how perfect it would be. Every detail was was well thought out - the floor plan, finishes, light, storage. We were the first - and only - residents for the first eight months, and watching this community grow has been a delight. Fox Builders is the best!

I've worked as a lender for Christopher's customers and also as a member of the Builder’s Association of the Blue Ridge Mountain's Parade of Homes Committee and in both roles I've seen Christopher and his team build absolutely beautifully crafted homes.

It's hard to express what a terrible experience we had with Christopher Fox. Under no circumstances should anyone use this builder. We were sold a lot home package in a new development, "Olivette". Two years later we are still working on mitigating his poor work, a pretty much impossible task. The house took two years to build and we started off with him allowing the foundation to sit for 6 months exposed to the weather. He had virtually no bookkeeping system. He was on site a total of three times during the building process... read more
