I've been seeing Dr. Finnila almost 9 years since arriving in Houston in 2015. He's extremely patient and always willing to explore other treatment options. He keeps great notes and covers everything from the previous visits. If you are new in town or even a long-time resident and looking for a new doctor, I would highly consider Dr. Finnila. NOTE: I'm quite healthy and do not regularly see a doctor. I only see Dr. Finnila for my annual physical, but he has advised me for other issues (skin, ENT, and shoulder pain). So i don... read more
Dr. Finnila is a great doctor who spends time with his patients, so it pains me to leave this review, but it seems to be my only option now. My annual check up with Dr. Finnila was exactly 2 months ago, and I still don't know what my lab results were. I have called his office about 6 times and his secretary (who is extremely rude) refuses to give me any information. She just says my results "are in his office". Dr. Finnila is a Great Doctor! Very thorough, never rushed, listens to you and explains things in an understandable language. Very pleasant and professional office staff.
Dr. Finnila spends a great amount of time discussing not only your medical issue but your medical history, as well. I never feel rushed and he always has time to answer any questions I have.
